The 3rd - 4th Grade edition to the series focuses on two main ideas.
First, math is a large part of the workbook. Multiplication and division are introduced. A strong emphasis is also placed upon challenging addition and subtraction problems. These math problems are placed within the framework of the Alaska Theme.
Second, reading comprehension is emphasized more completely in this workbook. Spelling, writing, vocabulary and grammar walk hand-in-hand with the reading program.
Health, science, geography, history and dogsledding in the wilderness of Alaska are woven into every page of the workbook.
Remember fun is a part of our Alaska Theme. We make our workbook something the students will enjoy opening up. Learning just seems to happen, along with the fun.
